01The leather

Leather is skin, not plastic. It has grain, scars and shade that shift from one hide to the next, and we leave all of it in. The vintage finish means it marbles where it bends and darkens where you handle it, so the bag you carry in a year is not the bag that came out of the box. It’s better.

  1. Genuine leather with a vintage finish. Every hide marbles differently, so no two bags match. Scuffs blend in, the colour deepens and the whole thing gets better with age.

  2. Heavy contrast stitching along every seam, with box-stitched anchors where the straps take the load.
